What You'll Do
As an IT Support Technician, you'll be the first line of defense for our clients, handling everything from basic troubleshooting to advanced technical support. You'll work with end users, business owners, and internal teams to deliver an exceptional IT support experience.
Core Responsibilities:
Client-Facing Support (Phone, Remote, On-Site, Email)
- Provide live technical support and troubleshooting to end users.
- Deliver a high-quality support experience, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Educate and train users on best practices for security, software, and new technology.
Technical Troubleshooting & Resolution
- Support Windows, macOS, iPhone, iPad, and business applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Assist with end-user onboarding and offboarding, including system setup and training.
- Perform basic networking tasks, including configuring workstations, printers, and VoIP systems.
Field Work & On-Site Support
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT hardware (desktops, laptops, servers, printers).
- Perform physical wiring, racking, and network equipment installations.
- Conduct on-site client visits to provide direct IT support and solutions.
Ticket Management & Documentation
- Manage and resolve support tickets quickly and efficiently.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
- Document resolutions, procedures, and best practices in our knowledge base.
What You Bring to the Table
- 1-3+ years of IT support experience (MSP experience strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS, Active Directory, M365, and basic networking.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Excellent communication skills – you know how to explain technology in simple terms.
- Organized and detail-oriented – documentation is second nature to you.
- Passion for helping others and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications are not required but are a plus (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certs, etc.).
